Traditional fitted kitchens are glued, screwed, and wired into place. When tenants move, those kitchens don't and can't follow — they get ripped out and dumped. It is one of Europe's most overlooked sources of residential waste.

Who We Are

Smyrna is a planet-first, tech-forward design company redefining the fast furniture industry.

People don't rethink how they live because of a campaign — they rethink it when their life does. Moving home is one of the most powerful moments for change there is. It's also, almost always, when a perfectly good kitchen gets ripped out and thrown away.

Our story started with a familiar problem in Germany: moving into a home, investing in a kitchen, and knowing it may not come with you when you leave.

That frustration became the starting point for Smyrna — a company rethinking the kitchen as something movable, repairable, and worth keeping in use. ALLinOne is our first answer to that question.

We're Berlin-based, and built around one belief: a kitchen that moves with you should also cost less to own, need less hassle to maintain, and earn your trust — not because it's marketed as sustainable, but because it's genuinely a better way to live.

My father, Öner, spent his career as a finance professional with deep roots in the furniture industry. Long before Smyrna existed, he believed in this idea — and in me. We paved the way together, step by step, from the very first conversations about what a circular kitchen could be.

He passed away last year, but his belief in this vision lives on in everything we build. Today, Smyrna is carried forward by three generations of women — myself, our advisor Bedriye Kebanli, Sevgi Karkın in business development and sustainability, and a wider circle of freelance collaborators who support us along the way.

This company exists because someone believed in an idea before it was anything at all. I carry that forward every day.
